Assembling your group…

As the organizer, you choose where your group of hikers will meet. Being that you are putting the trip together, make the meeting spot as convenient for yourself as possible but also ensure it has the following:

• a nearby public transit hub
• plenty of all day parking (to leave the extra cars)
• near major arteries such as a highway
• bike racks or suitable places to lock bikes for those that rode (and/or co-locate with Lime or Mobi stations)

These locations change over time and as the Organizer, you should choose what works best for YOU too but here are some common faves from the past.:

• Vancouver: Safeway parking lot – Commercial and Broadway
• Vancouver: Arbutus Coffee – Arbutus & 6th
• West Van: St. David’s Church – Taylor Way and HWY #1
• Get creative!
